You might be a modern-day Pharisee if…
…you are too concerned about the rules
…you divide people into camps of ‘us’ vs. ‘them’
…you don’t spend any time with non-Christian people
…you’re always right (and never confess sin)
The solution to filth of our sin (Mark 7:20-23; Zechariah 3:8-9)
Questions to consider: How would you describe in your own words the strengths and flaws of the Pharisees? Are there ways in which you identify as a modern-day Pharisee? Why is receiving God’s grace instead of working for it so important?
