My role at RRCC: I'm the Youth Intern here at Ross Road.
My Family: I'm the oldest (and favourite) child in a family of 4. My mom, Jenn, is an elder here at Ross Road. I have a sister, Julia, and a brother named Joey.
How long have I been at Ross Road: I've been attending Ross Road since 2012. I was immediately plugged into the youth program, and the youth pastor at the time, Craig, helped ignite my passion for youth ministry. In 2015, I started serving as a middle school leader. It was cool to see the group that I started leading then recently graduate in 2022!
A few of my favourite things/hobbies: It's too bad I'm limited to just a few. I am really big into sports and have been a Canucks fan all my life. Sometimes I wonder why I still cheer for this team, haha. Other interests I have are photography, video games, and exploring new places.
A favourite scripture passage or life-verse: I have always loved Matthew 5: 14-16, which says:
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
It is such a great reminder to me that we need to shine like a bright light in our lives, reflecting the love and character of God.
