Blessed Thanksgiving in Canada. Thank you for your much-needed continued prayers for all the ministries here. God is great and wonderful things are happening in the Rim Khan MB Church in Rim Khan Buddhist village.
Uncle Deng, a new believer, hadn’t talked to his brother in 15 years because of hurt and pain, even though they were neighbours.
Convicted one Sunday as he heard the Lord’s prayer for the first time (specifically Jesus’ command to forgive others), he went to visit his brother.
The next Sunday, with much joy, he told us how he witnessed to his brother. They mutually forgave each other, cried and had conversed every day since.
Four weeks later, his brother died. Uncle Deng, with his child-like faith, read the Word of God and immediately obeyed it.
God, in His love and faithfulness to those who follow and obey Him, not only healed his pain but restored his relationship with his brother.
Every day I am overwhelmed by God’s love and miracles as I see the many ways He works in the lives of these new believers.
~ Please continue to pray for the growing group of believers and their witness to those around them in the Rim Khan village cell church.
~ Pray for the Thai MB Family Camp this weekend, Oct 13-15 and as many travel from all churches over the country. Many are new Christians and will bring other family members that need to hear and surrender to Jesus.
~ Please pray for protection as Cynthia drives (7 passengers) with another vehicle for the long 10-hour+ drive. May God be praised, and may all be renewed and encouraged as they hear God’s word, share and worship Jesus.
~ Pray for Nong Deng and Kong, newly baptized believers, as they raise their five children (including 3-month-old twins daughters: Chanita and Chanisa)
~ Pray for Maceo as he continues to learn at Grace International School and for all students, teachers and staff to continue to enjoy health and safety.
Thank you so much for your support and encouragement.
Love and gratitude,
Cynthia & Maceo
